 Kayak instruction tailored to your
interests! Join our instructors for beginner through advanced instruction on
the Salmon River near Riggins. We offer 1-10 day packages for groups, or
individuals. We keep our instructor/student ratios low so that you get the most
out of each class. Whether you are interested in learning the basics, improving
downriver skills in classic Western whitewater, or want to learn a new trick,
the Salmon River has miles of great kayaking water and plenty of great play
spots. Give us a call for more information on what we offer and what the best
time of the year is to join us. In addition to our daily classes, we offer
multi-day raft supported trips on the Main Salmon through the Frank Church and
the Lower Gorge of the Salmon. Bring your boat or use one of ours, we can also
rent the latest play boats through a local shop if you want to try something
specific. We also encourage you to bring your non-kayaking friends or family on
our raft trips, they can ride the rafts or try out an inflatable while seeing
some of Idaho's most beautiful backcountry.
